Junior Programs 

Delcastle Tennis Center offers the area's best and most comprehensive Jr Development Programs to shcildren aged 4 to 18 at all ability levels. Our goal is to provide an organized and fun setting to foster a lasting enjoyment of tennis. students should have the willingness and desire to improve technical and tactical skills, movement and positioning, court sense and knowledge of rules.

MUNCHKINS (ages 4-5)
A child's first experience on the tennis court - an informal environment that establishes a foundation for gross motor skill develpment, basic movement and coordination skills will be introduced. Students will learn to receive and send the ball with their hands and racquets. Balls used are foam balls and red dot balls.
Cinic Times: Mon 4:30-5:30pm; Thu 4:30-5:30pm, Sun 12-1pm

HOT SHOTS (ages 6-8)
A beginner clinic designed to teach the children the basic strokes with the proper grips. They will learn how to move effectively to ensure good position and balance for each shot. They will be taught how to adapt to different situations and to control a follow through in both the forehand and backhand strokes. Students may be divided based on skills. Balls used are orange dot balls.
Clinic Times: Mon 4:30-5:30pm; Thu 4:30-5:30pm, Sun 12-1pm

FUTURE STARS (ages 9-13)
This clinic is designed to teach basic stroke mechanics, footwork, and movement skills to older players with or without previous knowledge of the game. The combination of drills, games and match play will make this an exciting format in which to learn and have fun. Students may be divided based on skills. Balls used are green dot balls.
Clinic Times: Mon 5:30-7pm, Wed 4:30-6pm, Sat 12-1:30pm, Sun 3-4:30pm

SESSION DATES (must enroll for the entire session)
Session 1: Sept 3 - Oct 28
Session 2: Oct 29 - Dec 23 (No class Nov 28, Thursday clinics will be prorated for 7 weeks)
Session 3: Jan 6 - Mar 1
Session 4: Mar 2 - May 3 (No class April 16-19)

PRICING (paid in full upon registration based on 8 week session)
1.0 hour clinics: $200 member/$240 non-member 
1.5 hour clinics: $300 member/$360 non-member
2.0 hour clinics: $400 member/$480 non-member



6 to 1 Student to Pro Ratio. Payment must be made in full at time of registration. Must enroll for the entire session. Minimum of 3 participants is required for the clinic to occur. Due to limited space, clinic fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable to other students or family members.


Please call if you are going to miss a class. We will determine if there is space in another class for a make up. We are only responsible for providing make ups for classes we cancel due to weather, etc. However, we will make every efforet to allow a make up for ONE missed class per session, if you call in advance and space permitting. Any make up approved by the Pro must be made within the same session as the missed class.
